My guardian's, my guardian was a very educated. He had come to... His name was Albert O'Neill, Irish Cuban. In 1912, he came to live in Syracuse, New York, from Cuba. And spoke English flawlessly with no accent of any kind. So step one was, you know, you need to take advantage of all of the educational opportunities. That was ingrained in me early on. I don't really remember ever needing to be told to do my homework or anything like that. I was always a very good student, for whatever reason.
