Cold Cream - The First Beauty Product
In the sixties, what you see becoming the ideal beauty standard is almost a rejection of this. A cold cream is a mixture of olive oil, bees wax, rose petals and water. The earliest known recipe for this is attributed to a a greek physician in the second century c e. It was originally intended as a cream to develop, and it was developed to heal minor wounds.
