Think of a desire as the, as the fount, the libido, your passions. They're a thing that is very innate almost to humanity, vitality you have. The recording doesn't exist as a vitality. There's no vitality there. The recording almost exists to stop the vitality. And we are like, for example, humans are nothing else but habits. We are experiences that inscribe themselves into others.
