The Key Moments in Babur's Life

When he was 12, Babur became the king of this little kingdom and immediately his loving uncles tried to take it away from him. He spent a great deal of his early part of his life fighting and eventually turned out to be a very good soldier. And so you can almost hear this young man saying, you know, life is so unfair and I'm not getting anywhere. Eventually what he did was give up on trying to reestablish himself in Central Asia but then moved south into Afghanistan where he made one conquest after another. From there, because now he did actually have a kingdom of a substantial size, he began to look eastwards into India, into Hindustan.
