Hong Kong COVID Trial
The trial is taking place just a few months after protesters in mainland China really brought their government to task for the way the country's zero COVID policy was impacting their lives. Protesters who were there made it very clear they were not against the Communist Party with some major exceptions. The vast majority of people who showed up to national protests across basically every major city in the country in November were very clear that they didn't want to overthrow the government.
