Effect Altruism and Utilitarianism

M, i don't actually think that there is so much of a conflict. Anadea deri parfet and a marchisan have both written eloquently about how virtuous, virtue ethics approaches can be unified with ngelist approach. But the social formation that is known as effect altruism or instantiation of utilitarianism is a misguidedd fundamentally a wrong for certain reasons. It's more about that this particular social formation is biased or confused about it's certainly what we do is closer to virtue ethics than utilitarianism.
