The Cost of Fat People's Care
When we talk about the cost of fat people's care is that often what we are talking about is the cost of long term medical neglect and denial of care because fat people have to doctor shop in order to find a doctor who will run like a tech. Discrimination is happening along every axis. So really only normatively embodied white men are getting like the full standard of care. Being able white men get one kind of health care and everybody else is fighting for the same level of attention to detail and caring.
