The Secretive Nature of the WAF
There are women's auxiliary air force members involved in most stages of what we call SIGINT signals intelligence which is what's happening at Bletchley. The ermentry was fearful of hysteria in women but they were also fearful of their gossipy nature stopping them from being able to keep national secrets. Women aren't generally educated to a very high level in things like maths and engineering and sciences so if they have something that will make them good at intelligence work they're picked pretty quickly. When they're picked they're told basically nothing about what they'll be doing it's very secret you can't tell anybody about it not your husband not your father your mother nobodyYou probably won't be eligible
