Is There a Difference Between Sales and Marketing?

The ongoing feud between sales and marketing, I think is much easier to solve for than we've ever done. Have you ever actually defined what a marketing or a sales qualified lead looks like or what it doesn't look like? The answers generally know that this has not happened. When you go out and get these, if you had a clearer definition, do you think that you could get more valuable in the minds of sales leads to them? The answer is generally yes. And then at that point, I say marketing. They can no longer say they're not adopting and adapting to those leads because you gave them what they asked for.
