The Death Factory in Lublin

The idea of the Death Factory had also been used already by other writers about Auschwitz and Treblinka. It's not surprising in a sense because the idea of building a fixed installation where people would be sent to be killed, obviously snacks of a kind of factory-like institution or building or camp. But I think using terms like industrial genocide, it kind of hides from the truly horrific nature of what was happening. The way they were killed was through the use of internal combustion engines with a pipe attached into a room. There's nothing efficient, modern, technologically impressive about it.
