The Skeleton in the Closet of Mainstream Economics
Homo economics was not fond of mathematicalo s or the calculating a mind set that homo economics is supposed to represent. He started then talking a lot about something that grew to almost dominate his writing by the end of his life, which is the idea of cultural evolution. And now his argument is that the countries of the global south, for example, even though they have a high level of population, group growth is happening in a sort of parasitic way because of the economic growth of innovations and opportunities produced by european countries.
