The Importance of Uncertainty
I love the way of dealing with uncertainty because it seems like until the last handful of years in the financial fund management arena, so many people desire certainty. It's refreshing to hear that I just don't know. And what we try and do is approach the problem from the perspective of the reason why this happened was chance. Very often, that's quite hard. You have a bad month or you have a great month, people say what happened. So can I prove that it's any different from chance? Quite often the answer to that question is no. But it's just a different mindset.
