S01E14: Selecting for Deafness - David Deutsch
Dilemma Podcast

The Importance of Intention in Morality
David Deutsch says that we don't have the knowledge yet of how to make it succeed again sounds very banal like what is he really saying there but think about it harder and it's profound. The distance between you doing something anything on any scale that doesn't break the laws of physics which which we're trying to figure out is doable isn't even a definition of optimism but an explanation for failure. He does point to that there are enemies of civilization I think at some point I will say David Deutsch hasn't solved the foundational problem of morality and he'll omit that later in this interview so I'm curious to see where he goes me too.
