Getting Rid of Ghosts in Japan

Japanese believe these hungry ghosts are stuck in limbo unable to leave behind their unfinished business. In japan, calling in the ghost busters means calling in a buddhist priest who will perform a ceremony known as oharai. A variety of tasty foods are placed on an altar to sate the hungry ghost's appetite. Then the priest begins to chant to let the spirit know that he she is dead, that they no longer have a body, that it's time to move on. Back in tokio, the lights are once more burning in the prime minister's mansion.
