So this sort of struck fear into the hearts of powerful people everywhere. Safe to say that that kind of put people on edge, like men, the socialists could take over our city too well. For example, in saint louis in 18 77, that was only six years after the paris commune. They were afraid they weregoing to take their property away from them.
