The World's Hunger for Chocolate Is Getting Worse
Commodities traders make a profit from knowing what direction the price will go. They try to get as much information as possible on future harvests, whether there will be the right amount of rain and so on. And most don't ever actually come into contact with a single cacow bean. The top four chocolate ducing countries in the world are all in the bottom 50 % when it comes to how wealthy they are. Cacaw farmers are some of the poorest people in these countries.
