The ethos of the Dev Squad is to say, Hey, are you ready to make the next step? This is how we're going to suss it out. And train differently than you did as 18s because it's a different game at this point. So kudos to Chelsea for going and getting people who are going to give them the best chance of succeeding for the players. It's choppy waters to navigate sometimes with coaches at this level but testament to anyone who succeeds in doing a really good job.
