I Don't Love Him the Way I Am
All constructive criticism, as truthful and well intended as it might be, comes across as destructive. What you think is, i want him to be happier, healthier, more self aware, better adjusted, wealthier. What he hears is, she doesn't love me the way i am. I'm writing this as a guy who's wrestled with this in a few relationships. We change because we discover that something is wrong and we want to make it right.
