The culture revolution unleashed deep and bitter tensions within chinese society, young against old. The gang of four who were said to have led mao astray are still blamed for the chaos that followed. But at the same time, it's also fair to say that there are small and often hidden areas where the culture revolution is talked about in china. In schools it is mentioned, but very briefly.
