The i m f ave had another bash at forecastin global g d p numbers. Advanced economies are going to gro two and a half % this year and one point four % next year. And that is a big downward revision for the us, dropping one point four% from just a few months ago. alphabet earnings are out, and worse than expected, but only just got second quarter revenue of just short of 69 point seven billion dollars,. up 13 % on the same period last year.
