The Myth of the Federal Government
Ubrachay: It's very frustrating to see the Biden administration say, oh, you know, we've got to put $37 billion aside for crime prevention. And I think one of the things that's important to remember is that states, local municipalities, cities, they can spend money differently than the federal government. The idea of like a fixed pool where what I put in as a taxpayer goes out and if it goes to project X, then it cannot go to project Y isn't true. There are countless experiments and projects across the country and the world practicing these new social relationships.
