The Challenges of Being a Journalist

Nicoll: It is difficult to be targeted by some of the most powerful people in the world. In that sense, a type of really vile hatred into your in box, into your voice, smells on social it's challenging. But what i'll also say is, we don't become journalists o to make powerful people comfortable. We have to expect that when we're trying to do bold, ambitious work that really challenges a power, that there's going to be a pushback. Luckily, i have a lot of support from people, and i know that the work that i'm doing matters.
