The City of Lights and Rain

You can tell from the tone of tourists conversations that they are happy and excited to be exploring london. They're transfixed by the view from the window, looking out for other london icons like red telephone boxes and black taxicabs. A small gray squirrel hops across the path in front of you and then stops just a metere away from where you're standing. There are pigeons pecking at the ground beneath a bench and tiny sparrows flitting between the trees. The squirrels that live here are so tame and so used to the presence of humans that they'll even take food right from your hand.
