Trigger Warnings Are a Big Issue
We should change the culture to make these real life events a part of our conversation, so it's not such a shock. Our babies deserve better than being covered by a trigger warning on social media. I understand that child loss can be difficult to see. It's even more difficult to live through. Promise you usually those who need a trigger warning are those who haven't experienced it and who fear it. Those who have experienced loss usually understand the need to talk about our babies. Nearly every life event can trigger some one's fears or pain. Jessie spent years triggered by people's pregnancy announcements and birth stories. She would never expect or ask some one to put atrigger warning on their life.
