The Importance of Dislike in Audience Studies

Audience studies is predominantly captained by kind of the focus on fans and liking as a concept. You also argue that academia has left very little room for exploration of dislike. How do you think your book contributes to filling that gap? I almost think it's like weird timing in that, you know, like audience studies in the sort of cultural studies qualitative tradition launches when at a particular moment of the pendulum swing with how we think about audiences.
