Is Complexity a Virtue in Theory?
Lacan wanted to block immediate understanding. Adorno would be another figure of, you know, complexity as a virtue in itself. And so that's where if you're looking for a definition of any like big term when a thinker is talking about their own ideas,. Any sentence where they say the thing is like you underline that. And Lacan does it a bunch. He's trying to be understood here. The tricky thing is that he says the real is a lot and there, he doesn't say the same thing every time.
