The New Texas Enforcement
New Texas law would require schools to tell parents if children are transitioning without their knowledge or will. Care providers who know that a parent is trying to transition the child and don't alert authorities could also be hit with penalties. The new laws have been proposed by state lawmakers, but not yet signed into law.
Texas is investigating parents for child abuse if they sign off on their children getting sex reassignment surgery and Congress is voting on a bill to rescind Texas' abortion law (and all states' pro-life laws). At some point the voices of the majority need to be heard and taken seriously.
