In the Pakistani community, I feel like there's not as much of an emphasis. There is still an emphasis to a certain extent, but it's very much on memorization. And the knowledge around the pakan is not really taught. Like, why are you doing it? What is the reward of the people of the hooran? Who is on the macheethi and that was the Sheikh-Pusri al-Mensoui who didn't complete his earmachee. So he started off quite early at an early age. Is Somali, were you raised in Somali?
