How to Avoid Saying Words That Have an S in Them
I was actually reading for a book club here, the David Sedaris book Me Talk Pretty One Day. He has a funny story from childhood about he had a lisp. And so they put him in speech therapy and his solution was just to avoid saying words that had an S in them. I have the same, a terrible classroom experience in my criminal law class where I felt like a complete, you know, idiot. We are our worst critics about this kind of stuff.
