The Cost of Going Out to Eat

California is one of seven states that have raised the minimum wage to $12.50 an hour for wait staff. The state has also passed a law allowing tipped workers to earn more if they work longer hours and get bonuses or gratuity on top of their wages. President Obama says he doesn't think this will affect people's ability to eat out at restaurants in California.
