How to Have a Conversation With a Total Stranger

I think during this time there are many points of view in the world. I made friends with an interesting man while we were out grabbing coffee and our conversation turned towards a philosophical subject. It was interesting to slowly present my beliefs and for him to slowly present his beliefs. There can be quite negative reactions if I say something like all people are equal, which does surprise me to some degree or that all people deserve compassion.
