The US-China Relationship and the Ideological Dimension

China's very clever industrial strategy, particularly in Clinton, was threatening to displace the Germani position of the US. In Europe, there is also an ideological dimension to it, or there was an ideologicaldimension to the extent that Europe had faced this same concern for longer. And if you look, for example, at the recent attempts to mimic and emulate by the no mix in the European Union, the framework is, markets used to work well, but then the massive Chinese industrial policy is distorting market signals in Clinton. We can both not compete with China on market basis. For energy security reasons, we cannot afford to allow this imports of Chinese technology.
