The Morality of Attention

Illich has this you know recurring emphasis on the commons and in fact I'm actually getting ready to write a little bit about this so he has this very interesting piece. He says everybody makes you know kind of is free to make use of it for a variety of different purposes. Nobody owns it but neither is any public entity regulating it right? It's sort of an ad hoc arrangement where people have through maybe custom and tradition and negotiation figured out how to makeuse of this tool.
