Is There a Women Artist in the National Gallery?
Will: I just thought um for people who don't know as many women artists as they should and that's probably 1% in the National Gallery. Artemisia Gentileschi was totally radical and made these towering images of biblical and mythological scenes. Katsushika Oi worked in the Edo period in Japan in the 19th century. Would be great to hear some names for people to discover after the podcast so I'll do some I'll do it in chronological order.
