Is This a Nancy Reagan Scandal?
In 1988, Don Regan wrote a book called For the Record about his time as Reagan's chief of staff. In it, he mentions that Nancy Reagan had a friend who was an astrologer in the White House and she could talk to her at any point. This is going to get her written off as this kind of flighty, mystical, believes in astronomers, kind of puff figure in theWhite House. But on the other hand, when you talk about Warren Harding's wife also heavily into astrology, like Teddy Roosevelt used to keep a quote from his birth chart in his office so that he could keep up with news.
