Physicists, Is It a Good Idea to Do Administrative Work?
Physicists seem to be able to do administrative stock as well, simultaneous to scientific stuff. It's almost as if you enjoy it. Is that true? Well, certainly most physicists wouldn't like to admit that they enjoy it, enjoy administration. I think of the reasons people are nervous about this is that they've seen many colleagues who take onadministrative roles and then find that they feel badly because they can't continue with their research. Soits just good fortune if you find somebody who happens to be good at both.
