The Seductive Trap to Waste Your Time
If there's a fairly small task that makes the thing better than what's in production right now, just do that. Don't waste any time because we know we're going to come back here and like redo this whole screen. If it's going to make it better for three days, that's worth it. You always need to compare up with where you've built so far to what users are using in production. The other side of the coin can also be true where there's no solution to some problem at all. So sometimes nothing is better than something more sloppier but less bad.
