Catholics in Northern Ireland - The Ioray
The ioray was not around really, you know, before this it had almost disappeared. catholics in northern ireland were not huge fans of the ioray after partition. After partition they felt completely betrayed by the Ioray and abandoned them. And now what we see is catholics essentially forming a new version of the iora which became known as the provisional ioray. The original point of this was to protect their own districts. But of course, as the conflict got worse and worse and worse, this became a battle against the police and then against the british army. With the ultimate aim of dismantling the northern iris state entirely the iray.
