When i left new york city, i could have gone anywhere. And as a writer, i am lucky i could do my job anywhere. Japan was a place that i had a huge amount to learn from and i'm still learning it. I sometimes think that travel is how i get my excitement and stimulation, but stillness is how i keep myself sane. So the only cure for distraction is attention.
