Love and Summer by William Trevor
i've been trying to read william trevor's books in order, and a lot of his kind of early to mid period books have this real darkness in them. And i think he mellows somewhat with age and love and summer, because it's kind of towards the end of his career is very, very different. So i'll be fascinated, in particular, how you find missus ekdorf and any other books from that early to midperiod of trevor's career. Ah, that's really fascinating. It's sometimes it seems like authors can mellow with age, and sometimes aga can go the other way. That's, that's an interesting project.
