When i first moved down my work was quite grey, quite dark, quite monochromatic. And it was interesting, someone pointed out to me, after a couple of years of being down here, that people were coming in and saying, wow, i just love your use of color. Not really a conscious decision, but, you're the shapes of those abstract forms. So when every time i'm out on my bike as well, you know, with the trees, we have these things called monterey pines, which were introduced at the turn of last century.
