Is the Federal Reserve in a Recession?
Two straight quarters of negative g d p growth is a recession. There has been very few times in history that the federal reserve is aggressively hiking interest rates going into a recession. If they continue to aggressively raise intestrates with 50 and 75 basis point hikes, if they begin and successfully continue to pursue quantitative tightening, they may get inflation down,. But either way, they will be able to destroy demand, which is the whole purpose of what they're doing. And they could push the united states into a Recession.
