The Sixh Committee, the Sixth Committee
80 out of 90 interventions in the sixth committee in 20 21 were either overwhelmingly positive or fine with a cess to take for discussion of the draft. And only a handful of state said no. So why i did this? Move it forward? The answer is the sixh committee has a trad n of working on the basis of consensus, which means that essentially the veto gets apportiod from the security council to the sixth committee.
