The University and the Union Demand Transformation
The union has a series of transformational demands. We decided to challenge New Jersey labor law by winning a card campaign. Only the part-time lecturers are in a separate union. The PTLs, let me put it this way, the PTLs did a card campaign and there was collaboration between both units. And they won a majority of people agreed that they would like to merge with the full time faculty and grad union.
