The Agony people led by a writer called Ken Sarawiwa, who some of our older listeners may remember from the 1990s. He managed to get oil production stopped in Nigeria and Shell realized that this was threatening their massive profits. They organized a kind of trial on Trump's up charges against him and eight colleagues. And these men were sentenced to death at the end of a sham trial which all legal observers said was one of the worst kind of kangaroo courts they'd ever seen. People thought that the executions couldn't go ahead. Nelson Mandela was then an important person in terms of the Commonwealth saying, you know, we need to use quiet diplomacy. But people did nothing.
