It's harder in books because you don't have, you can't see the character's face or body language. I mean, i'll just give you one small example. There's a scene at the end of the movie where he puts her on a bus to save her and she looks back at him across the bus and says 'you're the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life' That is subtext instead of text. And it's really powerful,. cause he's saving her life, like humphrey bogart putting ingerd bergman on the plane to lisbon an casa blanca. So that's great screen writing. But any time
