The Grace of God

The birth of Isaac is a glorious birth because it reveals God's mercy and his love in this most unexpected way toward these couple. The art of God who hide us thyself as Luther often refers to that verse from Isaiah, God always hides himself. Why? Because we have to trust that what God says he's doing in a glorious way is in fact him doing it in a glorious Way.
