What Happened to the Anepel Draft?
The anepel draft dates back to 19 35, but in 19 68, the washington football team drafted a player named yazu smith. Two years later, after smith experienced a career ending neck injury, he sued the anepel alleging an anti trust violation. The league started negotiating with the union and got the players association to basically sign off on the draft.
