When we look at the average balance of a four o one k for folks in their forties. According to fidelity research, you are hopefully leaving this decade with close to five times your income. I think that that's not where a game of time is ind people are actually behind. If you wan't to have a meaningful change, unless you start really early on, back at 20 years old, just saving nine % of your pay is not going to get you there.
