The Role of Regulation in the USA

The more laws you create, the easier it is for them to be gamed by big companies. The Glass-Steagall Act was 35 pages and that worked very well for over seven decades. Since that's happened which passed almost a decade ago, we've seen less than 10 banks,. new banks, started in the US in a population of over 300 million people. So I think the argument I try to make in the book is that it's more nuanced and simply let's get more regulators and let's create more regulation.
